Education and Intercultural Communication

 Last week we learned about how the Culture is conformed by methods that can be verbal or non verbal the verbal ones can be songs, poems, language itself and literary expressions, on the other hand the traditions and different ways of inculcating the values of the culture itself changes depending on the background and in this case the education.

Japanese education as a whole has different focus and the expectations are completely different the requirements and stress is something present everyday , which is interesting and concerning at the same time, complementing the education with the work and the sleep hours, japanese students and people overall seems to have an overload of work since they are childs, acconditionating their minds to high stress.

In contrast, mexican education is more relaxed, parents are strict but the responsibilities of the students are not even close to the overkill that japanese students do. Not trying to make look one better or bad, just different styles of education, we can argue the stress ends with the lives of students, but also the lack of preparation and conformism is a problems itself. As always I say in this reflections, a balance should be acquired. The fact that the education is the pillar of society after family is something people doesn't fully realize, but a pillar that is to rigid cannot adapt to changes like earthquakes. (Talking about earthquakes and pillars make me realize I drunk too much coffee tonight)

To end this, it's important to mention that both styles are adapted to the people who live in each background with diverse needs and mindsets, understanding it and accepting will make us aware of the beauty that is diversity and communication, because it makes the exchanges more rich in terms of widening the perspective.
